Beware of the brackets!

I purchased three of these blinds, and I’m very satisfied with everything except the installation hardware. I followed the instructions with the first one I attempted to mount, but I couldn’t get it to click into the brackets. After considerable effort and swearing I removed a bracket and tried fitting it into the top of the blind. No go. I eventually tried bending the rear flange up a bit with a screwdriver (see photo). Worked fine! After modifying all the brackets the installation went quickly and smoothly.

Pros

The cordless top-down bottom-up design allows for precise height adjustment and makes it easier to let in varying amounts of light
