After testing the drone with the remote control, the drone behaved as it should. Very stable and made some pretty good videos. The telemetry reading on the blue digital screen is quite accurate. Compass direction, altitude and distance display appears to work as advertised. Overall performance was good with the physical remote control and line-of-sight controls, and you can fly the drone from very long distances. I'm having an issue with the drone controller app on my phone. The phone has real-time display lag and the signal drops out at a very short distance. The function of drawing the path on the map does not work even after binding to the GPS. After I drew a path on the map at my location, the drone wanted to fly away and not follow the path drawn on the map. Luckily I was able to disable this feature and bring it home. I believe there is something wrong with the app software and/or the map integration. Not very impressed with the drone owner the first time.
