I use this cooker specifically for making quinoa fast and no worry/hassle. The ONLY downfall with this product that stopped me from leaving a 5 star review is that the top lid area has a silicone that wraps around a thin metal disc where the quinoa loves to stick and get up into making it a pain in the butt to clean. There will definitely be tons of old quinoa/grains stuck above the metal disk that doesn't appear to have a removal screw making it difficult/impossible to 100% clean this awesome cooker.Overall I absolutely love this product and it is a staple, but the inner area of the lid needs a better design or at least make it possible to remove for proper cleaning
