Not perfect but the best I've found

I want comfortable sweatpants to wear around the house. Not tight 'fashion' pants. Not something I'm going to wear out of the house anywhere. Not something I'm having my picture taken in. Just comfortable sweatpants. No pockets = no sale. Not functional.Low-rise = no sale. How many adult women want low-rise pants of any kind. Ever?Question: why when a waist is drawstring-adjustable are pants made with the elastic waistband too tight? Are they saving a penny per thousand produced by leaving an inch or two of elastic out? Because I can't think of another reason for this.Another question: why don't women's pants come in lengths like men's pants? 'Short', 'Average' and 'Tall' don't fit. Sweatpants come 29 inch inseam. So whether you're 5'1" or 5'10" you're supposed to wear the same length leg. Does this make sense to anyone else?Back to these pants.I found scrubs of my comfortable description to wear in Spring and Autumn, but start to freeze in them by December. I want warm sweatpants, not 'lightweight' sweatpants. I tried a similar pair to these, ok, but the elastic waistband was too tight and the fabric was too thin. This fabric is a little heavier/warmer, and the waistband is tolerable. I ordered half dozen more pairs. Why don't they come in colors? I would love them in purple.Note: the alleged sizes of all of these pants seem to list the waist size with the elastic stretched out as far as it will go. Result: the elastic is too tight around your waist when you put them on. Order the size that doesn't have your actual waist size as the top range number!

Pros
  • Comfy, holds up great with washing, becoming even softer.
Cons
  • They are not recommended for wear during high-intensity activities like CrossFit
