Pretty but lots of shapes and mine didn't all fit

I love wooden toys and have amassed quite a collection over the last few years of pregnancy. I thought it would be a great addition to a child's playroom but the build was super disappointing. As I screwed the screws into the pre-drilled holes, mine didn't stand up enough to insert the bottom piece, which was supposed to create a small compartment to hold the blocks and drumsticks. This is literally the first step in the guide, so it wasn't a good start. I went ahead and finished building it without that bottom part and it still works like a walker, it just doesn't have a storage box to catch and hold the blocks. I can take it apart and have my husband drill those two holes to match. Everything else went well. The "drum" part is a VERY thin piece of plastic that will definitely break, and the bottom of the drawer, which I couldn't fit in mine, is cheap chipboard. Everything else is nice and solid.
