Other reviews of these tears are entirely correct. We used them to secure the twisted ends of our straps. In fact, about 25-35% broke, but when such a number breaks, all the others seem to break. They definitely don't have the 65-pound breaking strength that their supplement says. Totally disappointed - don't buy, listen to those who said they were broken. I imagine there are people here who haven't complained about them breaking because they didn't try to tighten them. What's even more annoying is the inconsistency in strength. When they break, they break with little effort, so you'll think that with a little effort you can free one when it's time to unzip it. I'm not saying you can't break others by hand, but it will take a little effort.
