Worm and Cozy

This Christmas I bought 4 packs of padded socks in different sizes.1) They are warm. We use them for skiing and snowboarding, ice fishing and early morning biking. They keep my toes roasted. 2) One of the reviewers mentions that they are slippery inside. While true, it goes away after wearing (wearing 4-5 days) 3) Socks get warmer after wearing them for about a week. Wool seems to be losing its luster for lack of a better term. Socks become fluffy and some balls of yarn become ruffled. Then they are nice and comfortable and very warm. The only disappointment is that the smallest size I bought for my four year old son is not as thick as the large pairs and is 60% wool. But it's as advertised and they're still warmer than his average socks. Good buy: take something! But it's as advertised and they're still warmer than his average socks. Good buy: take something!
