I love that this collar is so easy to use. My 2 Goldens made a storm when they saw people walking down our private road. It's a nice walk, so we have a lot of walkers. Needless to say, these guys wouldn't let me sleep. The evenings were just as bad. We put these collars on our Goldens and they learned so quickly! The best part for me was that they only felt pain a few times and then they knew that such behavior was unacceptable. All I had to do was put the collar on and they knew not to bark. I just wish I could be more diligent about taking it off at night and putting it back on in the morning. They helped each other and took them off by biting off the plastic clip. First one thing, then another week later. They're barking again, so I have to get them a new one. My advice is to take it off at night and put it back on in the morning. This will also ensure that the collar is in good condition and will not burn the dog's neck.
