This was a somewhat wasteful purchase after a hard night of cooking with our old pots and pans. Let's just say we're sick of the lack of even heat and limitations of Rachel Ray and Paula Dean-style pots and pans. We got them in about a week and cooking is fun again. Excellent build quality, excellent heat retention (they behave very much like cast iron in this) and also an excellent non-stick surface. Even if they only last 5 years I think they have value but I think they will have a decent long life as well.
