Originally bought for a neighbor's barking dog who could bark for hours (I'm a stay at home mom so it was very annoying day to day). Didn't want to call animal welfare again (they only come out once, after that you need 3 neighbors who also report them before anything can be done. Uhhh. yes. Thanks for the help!?!). I ended up not needing it for the dog as of course his barking stopped when he arrived (Ha!). But. I tried this when my cats fought aggressively and it worked 100%! A quick press of the "N" key (negative or not) and you'd think I dumped a bucket of water on it! They literally jumped up and looked very scared. Scared them so much they carefully looked around every corner for the next hour, so be careful with the button! Just a quick squeeze and they were scared. DO NOT use it too often or you could be abusive and unkind to your pet. "The more the merrier" is NOT suitable for this device. By the way, it worked out with the other neighbours' cats, who also had heated arguments. I bought a second one to replace when I lost mine when we last moved.
