Cable that works as described. only to be let down by Garmin's own software. You see "Parking Mode Videos" are placed in their own folder on the SD card. These videos are NOT part of the removal cycle. So what does that mean you ask? Well, what SHOULD HAPPEN is that when your SD card is full, your dash cam will push the oldest video off the end to make room for the new one. Rinse and repeat. standard material. However, the Garmin software DOES NOT DELETE the parking video, ONLY the driving video. This ultimately means that your SD card is so full of parked videos that it's so intimidating "driving videos" that "driving videos" can only be 3 minutes long at any given time. The only way around this is to manually delete the videos every few days. and who will do it? Well, Garmin support said that's the only way to get around this. Pfff. This is such a simple solution for Garmin. It might be pushed out when updating the firmware on all devices - but no. This problem has existed for many years. I had to DISABLE parking mode to fix the problem, so there's no point in buying this cable at all. Result? A waste of money and an amazement considering everything is made by the same company (used with the GARMIN DASH CAM 45).
