In minutes this heater warmed my small cold office, it has plenty of power and can easily heat a large living room. It's probably best to heat small spaces, I left the door open but the heat didn't spread further than my office. No problem as they are portable and affordable I can probably just order another one for other rooms in the house. It has a fan function, two heat settings and another setting that allows you to use minimum or maximum heat at low or high temperatures. It is difficult to say which direction is the minimum or the maximum. The instructions also say to leave the fan on for a few minutes before turning it off completely, perhaps to cool it down before people put it away.
