I've had my eye on the OXO Good Grips salad spinner for a long time, but I've found it difficult to spend $30 when there are many other salad spinners that are cheaper. I'm not sure how many revs he'll get, but he'll be damn fast. Water enters the outer tank through slots in the inner tank. I can make a romaine head in about two minutes with no rush and most of the water I washed it in will evaporate. It's also big enough to turn many greens at once. You can also use this to dress your salad by tossing the salad slowly and pouring the salad dressing through the pouring hole in the lid. dry and reassemble. After a year of regular use, it looks and works like new! This is one of the best kitchen items I've ever bought.
