When people say "cheap generic Chinese junk" is bad, this little device is the exception I want to point out. I bought this on a whim as I don't like listening to music through headphones and when I plugged my full size Sennheiser headphones into my iPhone it just wasn't loud enough. This little unnamed amp solves that problem and sounds amazing. I bought it two months ago and use it all the time. I can't comment on how long the internal battery lasts as it's always been more than enough and when I'm not using it I usually put it on the charger. It charges with a simple micro-USB and comes with a cable but no charger, but who doesn't have plenty of USB chargers lying around these days? Operation is simple: 1/8" headphone input and output: connect the input to the headphone jack and the headphone to the output. It comes with a very short (3ft) connection cable, and there is nothing proprietary about it, so You can use it with any 1/8" auxiliary cable you already have. The sound is rich, full, clear and LOUD. After going through the minimal packaging and instructions in English (the box says "Enjoy HD shock!"), it will be well packaged in an anti-static bag and the build quality will be very good. The body and power/volume knob are all metal, and the connectors are flush mounted, flat and solid. The only one Disadvantage that I can think of is that the short cable has 90 degree bent plugs and since the input jack is halfway between the volume control and the output jack it sticks out uncomfortably to the side I always use a different cable. My girlfriend loved this little amp so much I bought her one too. It also fixed her problem with her iPhone's headphone jack not being loud enough for her car stereo's AUX input. She used to have to turn on the car radio so loud that the generator whining in the music became loud and annoying when she switched back to the radio and forgot to turn off the car radio beforehand. With this small amplifier connected and mounted on her center console, she can match her car stereo to the volume of her radio, resulting in a sound so clear it's like listening to the radio.
