Review on Toro 53803 Solenoid Jar Valves: Unbeatable Performance and Reliability by Jason Childs
Direct replacement. Works perfectly.
The only reason I had to buy this replacement solenoid was because a gopher chewed through the original solenoid wire on my sprinkler valve. He chewed it through, not leaving a single piece for it to fuse with. The new solenoid works well as expected.
