I have a Camry and was able to find good mounting points. Since this is a slightly smaller car than others it fits in, I connected one side of the bungee cord to the outer grommet and wrapped the bungee cord around the roof handle a few times, then attached the other end to the second grommet on the . This made the upper a bit stiffer. I then routed the bottom bungee cords to the front of the front seat base and hooked them where the front seats attach to the chassis. I also found I had to lower the top a bit because it blocked my view of the rear window. My gold is now left behind! There is a small gap at the bottom so if you have a small dog you can position it lower, perhaps at seat level rather than headrest level.
