A friend bought one of these for her dachshund puppy and I thought it was the perfect size. After looking at other carriers I was still convinced that this one would be perfect for my pup. new dachshund puppy. It weighs 4.5 pounds and fits comfortably in a sling leaving room to grow. It's not too deep so my pup can stick his little head out to see where we're going or snuggle in and take a nap after a busy day socializing. He loves being in the bag. This sling is also perfect for carrying around the house when I wouldn't be able to keep an eye on it otherwise. This awesome sling is made from a super soft, lightweight material that stretches a bit for extra comfort so my little pup will sway in the sling and not overheat. It's also easy to carry, so most of the weight has to be carried by my dog, not the bag. I think this bag is perfect for small puppies, dogs and cats.
