I have not tried any other juicers so I cannot compare them to others. All I know is that there is an internal clip that sits just above the mesh basket that has been broken twice. The first time the company sent me a replacement part. Now it's broken again. Also, it's a plastic-coated black metal clip, and when it splintered on the metal grate of the juice basket and after drinking the juice, I started cleaning the juicer and found tons of tiny black plastic pieces in the grate of the basket. . Shortly after that I had to go to the doctor for abdominal pain, which the doctor called gastritis. I don't know if some of the small bits of plastic got into the juice through the strainer as I always drink it immediately after squeezing it so it didn't have time to settle out of the juice. So now I'm buying a new, different juicer just to be on the safe side. So I recommend you to stay away from it.
