Looks like a quality filter material, but after a few weeks of installation I pulled it out because I had a feeling. and I was right. What happened when the filter is in place is that "corner angle" is very faint and I saw that there is a large crease/curvature/crease in it. If the outer "ring/housing" of the filter were made of a harder material (even cardboard) this could prevent wrinkling which would allow air to flow through the filter. But since it's designed it's really too soft, and you need to be sure the material will bend (and fail) during installation. Too bad I use a lot of Mann products and this is the first to disappoint.
