I bought this for my daughter when she was 14 months old. She is now 21 months old and still plays with him although she carries him around now but he seems to be holding up well. I recommend anyone looking for a small activity cube to start with their LO. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a big clunky one that takes up a lot of space. I love that you can fold the top inside for easy storage and when your child outgrows it is easy to store. The top of the bead maze can be used separately on the table. So many uses! The kit comes with a set of mugs (my daughter is obsessed with mugs of all shapes) and a booklet. I like that it's made of wood. The only thing I would say is an issue (if you have a younger child who still puts toys in their mouth) a tiny splinter came off one of the pieces when my daughter was playing with it. She chews so it's not the seller's fault, just be careful with that for your little one. That's pretty common sense for anything with smaller parts. Don't leave your child alone with him. Not enough to deduct a star for the quality. I think it's adorable and I've played with it too!
