The flags that came with the product were in good condition. The instructions for attaching the flagpole are simple. It came with silicon washers as well as some Teflon tape, ostensibly to keep the bracket on the rack from moving along the rack. However, installing silicone washers did nothing, including silicone tape. This helps hold the mount but keeps moving. Although the mounts fit snugly in the rack, the sticks move as soon as you pick up speed on the bike. He doesn't hold the flags properly and looks very disrespectful with the US flag on his side. I currently do not recommend this product.
