My 18 year old boy has big ankles and these are the first socks that don't cut off his circulation! The heel is arched but not chunky and the toe box is elastic enough to fit his chunky little feet. The best thing is they stay! No heel slipping or dangling toes! The non-slip area is also nice and big for super grip, but not too high to make the shoe completely impossible to try. Good value for money, I will definitely buy again.
