Silent for two weeks, then annoyingly loud.
I purchased this clock specifically for the feature of being silent or non-ticking. It came as advertised and originally I thought it was a great purchase. However, after a little over two weeks of use it started making a grinding noise. Sounds like a loud computer downloading the matrix itself. Waste of money.
