They look very sleek on a table top. Don't put a hot plate, bowl, etc on them. They will leave a residue on your table. None of the residues have burned our table, but its an entire new ordel to clean.Also, I bought these thinking it would be easier to just hand wash them instead of machine washing them. BIG NOPE. These stain pretty bad. Unless it's cheese or a white sauce, you can't get the stain out.We have a 7 year old and there are chili stains, marker stains, glue stick stains (it gets in the weave and I can't get it out), etc.Don't get these unless you have a cleaning person who does your chores. 🙄
