I have worked with cars for over 40 years and have rebuilt quite a few brake lines including expanders. I have an old classic rigid flare tool that I mistook for not a 3/16 inch tool. I thought it would only go to 1/4" but I had to make some 3/16" flares. So I bought this Wostore with the idea that I wouldn't need another more expensive torch tool in the long run just to make some of those 3/16" torches for this project. I regret the purchase. . This tool is very bad. After four unsuccessful attempts to get a good flare on the line under the car i took it to the shop and tried using a vise on a pipe cut. still not good enough. would not recommend this wostore. period. a piece Rubbish It's almost impossible to get the surfaces of the terminal blocks flush and it appears that either the casting that the cone head/bolt is installed in is crooked, or the threaded hole is crooked, affecting the alignment of the cone/bolt Screw affected. And the cone swivel on the screw didn't solve the problem. There was no way I could get a tool to put the die in straight and each bell was crooked. Then I fetched pulled out my old rigid and found the size markings didn't match the actual holes. The 3/16" mark is a bit confusing and the 1/4" mark is next to the 3/16" hole. This is indicative of rigid, but the first try works.
