I have this slider for 2 reasons: 1 - It is controlled by the app. 2 - This is RHINO. For close-ups, this slider doesn't work as well. acceptable and clearly visible in the frame. Looks like someone didn't take their hibi jeeb meds or something. Upon further research, I found that the iPhone has some internal stabilization and that it sometimes gets in the way of the sliders and hinges a bit. So it could be a combination of problems. I added weight etc to see if that would help because the phone is pretty light, but that didn't do anything for close-ups. Other shots like landscapes, interval shots, etc. work well and the shake is barely noticeable. The app disappointed me. It's not very intuitive. It also crashed and restarted a few times on my iPhone X. So I'm not sure what's going on there. The battery life on this device is excellent and you will likely have more than enough time to get all the shots you need. Disappointed with my first RHINO purchase and this unit was returned.
