I have had this camera for more than a year and take it with me almost everywhere. Advantages: 1. Waterproof, sand-proof, dust-proof and drop-proof. I've dropped this camera countless times, the first time the top left corner cracked a bit, and the second time there was a dent on the edge of the battery cover, it's riddled with small scratches, but not once. on the lens or the rear window because there is a protective film on it. It's still just as waterproof and dustproof as before, and I actually test its waterproofing whenever I'm in the water. I also dug it in the mud a few times and it came out very well. The battery cover lock and hinge were full of dirt, but constant use made it look like new again in a short time. I also bumped into it a couple of times during recording with a van full of dirt and it wouldn't turn on. However, on a sufficiently hard hit, it will stop firing for that brief second and then continue2. Image quality is good for what I use it for. really good, and if you're using the flash for close-up night shots, it's very good too. Underwater shots are just as good depending on how clear the water is, but in murky water they pick up more than my eyes can see.3. video quality. The video quality is good and you can record up to 37 minutes and 39 seconds at a time. It's not the maximum, but it's a timer that shows you every time you start recording. You can record as much as you want as long as you have enough memory.4. controls. The controls are very simple, once you get used to them they are big and easy to push into the water5. The size is very compact. and fits easily in your pocket. and weighs about zero. It's the perfect camera to take with you every day because you won't even notice it's there, well, unless you're wearing super skinny pants. Now for the cons. 1. Battery life. Battery life isn't bad for the most part, the battery lasts a decent amount of time if you're just taking photos. I got about 100+ at the dealership before the battery died. then I took pictures again. Shooting eats up the battery very quickly. Luckily, it only takes about 2 hours to charge and you're done. You can also buy a second battery just in case. but sometimes, maybe it's just me, but sometimes the charger doesn't fully connect to the battery and the indicator just flashes for hours. 2nd strap. First, it's too short to wrap securely around your wrist, and it's also handy for keeping the camera in the water in case you drop it and it's gone forever. Also, it's thin and might break at some point. so i removed it and replaced it with a neck strap, works great.3. LCD screen. It's good, but not great in low light. Images look very grainy when the image itself looks good. that's the only problem i have 4. zoom. The zoom is good, but don't expect it to be very close to distant objects (it's only 3x, after all), but that's why it's a minus for me. You cannot zoom in and out while recording. You can zoom in or out before you hit the record button, but not while you're doing it. This sucks for me because I mainly use it for writing.5. Video/image transmission. It's not really like that, but sometimes it's annoying. Photos and videos are saved in the same folder. not very big, but sometimes when you try to separate them you miss one or can't find it because it's in a different folder on your computer. Overall this is a great camera that will survive almost any accidental drop into concrete or water. and if you want to bury him, go ahead. it can take it.
