I'm doing a nail polish manicure and I need a super bright super white light so I don't miss a thing when plucking my cuticles. and nail polish. This lamp is suitable for overhead work but not as bright as I expected and not as flexible as I would have liked for nail work. It only glows from above, not below or under anything, and it can't be tilted or bent enough to illuminate my hands where I need it. If you buff with gel you know that you have to do it in a very well lit area to make sure you don't leave polish on cuticles or skin or it will dry like a stone in a curing light and then you won't do.. This lamp didn't help me see what I needed to see. It's ok, nothing special.
