We ordered 3 different colors and sizes of these sets for our sons. We have checked and applied the recommendations in the size chart. According to the size chart that came with our son who normally wears a size 7 needs a size 6. We ordered it for him and it fits perfectly. Our other son needed size 12 which he usually wears and it fits him perfectly, even a bit loose but not too big. Our son who would normally need a size 8 would fit a size 7 in this size chart we ordered and was too small. While all 3 items we ordered were the same item from the same seller (just different colors) I found it interesting that the two vest/trouser sets shipped via Prime matched the sizing chart whilst the item that was not shipped matched the size chart Prime was too small. It was that white color that needed to be brought back, the navy blue and red waistcoat went well with it. Smaller size tie clips seem to be made of nicer material, but a cable tie is just as easy to use. All three sets have loose laces here and there but that doesn't bother me as they will be wearing them for 1 day at the wedding and then I'm sure they will grow out before they can wear them again. I appreciated the cost and that it saved me from running around the stores hoping to find sets that fit and fit our kids. My biggest disappointment was that not only did I pay seven dollars for return shipping to return an undersized item, but I also had almost five dollars deducted from my refund amount because it was the seller's original item. So order carefully as the size chart turned out to be accurate for the two light color sets we purchased and inaccurate for this white set. Sorry if this is confusing.
