They claim it was already calibrated when I was new but the initial reading when I put it in ice water started at 37F and went in few minutes on 42 Okay, I'll calibrate! I followed the instructions but never read the numbers that allowed me to calibrate, just an error message as shown in the picture. Switching off and on and changing the battery without improvement. I wrote to technical support at the address given in the instructions and sent this photo. Five days later I received a reply repeating the printed instructions and telling me not to take it out of the ice water during calibration, which I never did. So not helpful. I've already returned it, although even Revane doesn't want to return it; You just made a return. I'm disappointed, but at least I don't have a couple of button batteries.
