This Wright tool is beautifully designed and built and fits the hand perfectly. Perfectly contoured, with no sharp edges, carefully polished. This is a short 7" ratchet (#3490) and I prefer it for light to medium work but is strong enough for high torque work. For higher torque applications I prefer the 10" Wright ratchet (#3425). because of the additional leverage. To eliminate the natural wear and tear that a professional can see on any tool after years of use, Wright offers replacement kits to service its ratchets; These are repairable tools, not disposable tools. While Wright tools are designed and used by professionals, Wright tools are worth the money if you are an avid hobbyist and appreciate the look, feel, feel and durability of premium tools. They handle a lot more torque than a standard ratchet and I find them to be on par or better than the snap-on ratchet I use.
