Great OEM product though.
The two wires from the temperature sensor are not pre-wired to the harness and there are no instructions as to which pins they connect to. The Gentex support site states that they do not and will not provide the schematic, that their exclusive Voxx Electronics distribution channel is responsible for it (really?). Their website also doesn't offer installation/connection diagrams for download. To save you from trouble, the temperature sensor wires are connected to pins #6 and #7. Check this first as they must be connected with the correct polarity. If the if works in reverse, swap the connections. Also, the red power wire must be connected to a switched (ignition) 12V DC supply and the black wire must be connected to body ground. After all, the device works great and is in OEM quality.
