3 stars because I don't know if it's my fault or defective lightbulbs. It took 4 to replace the microwave bulb because the first 3 just exploded as soon as I screwed them in. However, I have read the instructions under my microwave and it CLEARLY says to turn the mic OFF to change the lightbulbs. When I did that, the 4 worked. So user error? Or 3 mistakes? I'm not sure. I don't have 4.50 for 3 burnt out pears anyway. **UPDATE** Had to replace ONE working lightbulb because it had already burned out. the last two HIT also immediately after the statement has been executed. So definitely bad pears. I've ordered a new brand and none have exploded yet.
