Prevents food from getting on the keyboard
We had an expensive keyboard repair ($500+) on our MacBook Pro. You just missed the extended warranty period. Bought this case for a refurbished Pro and a new MacBook Air. It covers the keyboard effectively, and best of all, you won't notice it after a while. It may seem different at first, but it's easy to forget. Definitely recommend it, especially for those who can grab an occasional snack or turkey meal with their laptop.
