They do NOT work with oil. And they are NOT stainless steel.

Olive oil, even diluted more than 3 to 1 with water, will hopelessly clog these things. Water and diluted lemon juice seem to work well. The bottle is actually glass, but the rest is plastic. There is no stainless steel anywhere on these things. I would advise you to buy something better.

Pros

All-Purpose Kitchen Utensils: Fill this sprayer with olive oil, vinegar, vegetable oil, lemon & lime juice, sauce, sherry or wine, etc. Ideal for spraying ingredients instead of using brushes when frying, steaming, baking, cooking. Note: Do not pour thick oil into the dispenser.
