Review on YSTOOL Brake and Clutch Fluid Pneumatic Vacuum Bleeder Tool Kit: Efficient Brake Oil Change Set with Extractor and Refill Bottle, Master Cylinder Adapters, Air Quick Plugs for Automotive & Motorcycle Use by Demetrius Holt

Hardly acceptable for home use. A dazzling piece of animal waste in a professional setting.

Not suitable for shop use. Suitable for home use. First, it's mushy. It breaks easily, cheap plastic cracked when a 14mm head first fell on it (head can't weigh more than a few grams). I glued it on with two part epoxy because the vacuum was $20. Whatever. Two - Extremely slow sucking. Slower than any of my colleagues. Three - Brake fluid starts spraying out of the air vent when the reservoir is half full. I wasn't expecting this when I first used it and halfway through bleeding the brakes I sprayed the car and a passerby when the tank was halfway down. If this one breaks, I won't buy one anymore. Better to spend $100 for something that works and won't break if you're overbreathing somewhere nearby. Also, brake fluid eats away at the paint and I was unhappy with the brake fluid paint removal on a $50,000 2020 car. Luckily I was quick enough and the fluid didn't eat through the paint. Not a great product. Tolerable quality even if you only use it once every 3 years or 30,000 miles (recommended brake bleed interval).

Pros
  • After securing the oil filler bottle and opening the valve, connect the factory air to the waste oil bottle and connect the black flare fitting to the vehicle's outlet valve. Open the compressor, attach the waste oil bottle to the engine cover and use the trigger lock to connect the trigger. After 4-5 minutes, close the compressor and check the pressure on the pedal.
Cons
  • Quality
