I mounted it on a metal bracket it was very tight but I tightened it then took it back oiled it went to put it back and broke in Hole, he's trying to stretch it back. Given the value of Yamaha and the cost of it, I'd happily go down to the dealer and buy a Yamaha air filter, well, live and learn.
