TODAY I went for a jog at the National Volcano Test on the Great Hawaiian Island. Check out my video and photo posted here - near Hilo, High State, where locals say there is an average of 200 rainy days a year. The shoes protected my feet all day like no other shoe ever did! As I'm an outdoor enthusiast: snowboarding/trailing/jogging you name it, which makes me a fan of Gore-Tex (GTX below) which I own from head to toe: jackets, windbreakers, pants, shoes etc Anyway, I have Salomon 3 and 4 GTX trail running shoes and Adidas GTX, I wear/change 4 of them every day depending on need (and mood 🤟🏾). Hands Down The Salomon 4 GTX is the most comfortable, durable and fully wraps your feet from toe to heel. On muddy, rocky, slippery roads it grips like a breeze, it sticks to the road at normal pace like a winter tire with tire cable to snow - I've never felt that with other GTX boots, thanks to Gore of course -Tex- technology, it protects my feet from getting wet. The most important thing is that they don't hurt my feet after a whole day of wearing them. I have small flat arches and every time I changed shoes I had to remove the original insole and put in a high arch insole. This bet keeps my feet in place securely and comfortably.
