Review on Deepcool GAMMAXX 300 CPU cooler, silver/black/blue by Wiktor Janic ᠌

A complete disaster, the product definitely did not pass the quality check!!!

I've read a lot of reviews, tests of tower coolers, in which this miracle of engineering was called the "people's tower", which will work out every spent on it. But, honestly, you can throw me diss, tomatoes, but this cooler does not work at all. I put it on my just bought AMD Ryzen 3 3100. I turn on the PC, at the start the CPU temperature walks +/- 50 degrees. After 15-20 minutes of using a PC, and this is elementary surfing on the Internet, the CPU temperature is already walking +/- 70 degrees! There is no question of any stress tests of the CPU, the temperature flies immediately under 95 degrees and tends higher . And then I started dancing with a tambourine, changed the thermal paste, rearranged it this way and that, removed / put on the cover of the PC case - the result is the same. According to my observations, the sole / base that comes into direct contact with the processor is simply hot, it is impossible to touch it, the tubes from the sole are slightly warm, and the plates on which the fan itself is cold! Those. There is no thermal conductivity of these tubes, they do not remove heat. Even for the sake of experiment, I tried to turn off the cooler - the temperature does not change, i. E. its presence on the tower is not necessary. the plates on the tubes are not involved in cooling the CPU. Honestly, I don’t know who praises him, he definitely doesn’t fit on Ryzen. I can not recommend it for purchase - money thrown away.

Pros
  • Really quiet
Cons
  • The AMD Ryzen 3 3100 doesn't cool from the word - not at all.
