My kitty scratched the area next to this furniture protector. She tried to bite, scratching the terrifying shields. Surprisingly, even without the pins, this Furnish Scratch Guard is so sticky my cat can't tear it off. At the same time it protects my furniture. With the film, it only protects the sofa and can still be used. When the tape is removed, the cat learns to avoid the sticky area and this persists even after the tape is removed. Universal design.
