Very good large drinking bottle

The quality of this bottle is very good, just what I expected when I ordered it. There are a few things to note when looking at this bottle. The lid is made of titanium and has rough carvings. This works well, but it may seem a bit bumpy at first. I haven't had any issues with the seal and it loosens with use. I have other titanium bottles with the same issue and the threads are getting smoother over time. This is very embarrassing at first. This bottle is light, but not super light. I think the weight is comparable to other bottles of this size in other materials. It's on the brighter side of the spectrum, but not a huge difference. The included neoprene sheath makes it a bit heavier - more on that later. The reason for buying this bottle is that titanium is durable and therefore less prone to scratches and dents, and is also very inert so the water doesn't get a taste of it. Titanium is fairly thin and very conductive, meaning this bottle doesn't hold up heat or cold very well. It has not deigned, so do not buy it as a thermos. Because of this, he tends to sweat. That means if you put something cold inside, condensation will form on the outside. It comes with a neoprene sleeve that helps with insulation, stopping condensation if that's a problem for you. The lid also offers a degree of insulation, but again, this isn't a thermos. The lid is well made and fits snugly. This increases the weight and volume of the bottle. Another reason to use a cap is to give the bottle extra protection from scratches, dents or bumps during use. Titanium tends to be noisy in the sense that it rings a little when I hit an object compared to plastic, for example. A lid will of course prevent this if that's a problem for you. Overall I am very happy with this water bottle. A couple of very small things I would recommend as improvements: - The mouth opening could be a bit wider. It appears to be narrow but is a standard size. Due to the narrowness it is a bit difficult to see the water filling up and when it will reach the top. Add measuring grooves on the sides. It would be nice to know how busy it is. It's a bit tricky as you can't see the filling from the outside and it's dark inside. Mouth expansion can help as mentioned above. While it would be nice, it's not easy to solve and get working. - With neoprene coating, it has a ring for connecting with things. The lid also has a D-shaped hook. However, I'm wondering if the D-ring on the cap without the cap is strong enough to hang the bottle, especially if handled roughly. I'm sure it is, but it doesn't inspire confidence.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Low repairability
