A good sized bag that can hold quite a lot of items. I've carried the lighter in various places in the bag and it's actually immune to small flames. There was smoke from the heat (so it's not heat resistant), but the flames left no trace. Mostly flame retardant as the nylon used for trim and handles/shoulder straps will burn. It appears that the content remains safe. Velcro and zippers are used to protect the contents. I don't think this will stop all the water from getting in, but should work against sprinkler water. If you submerge it in water, it will likely fill with water. All in all, after a small house fire that my emergency kit didn't quite make it out of, this bag should be significantly better. Everyone should have one of these because you never know when a fire might break out.
