These glass bowls are beautiful.
I bought these to take my lunch to work. I don't like eating food in plastic or metal containers. Lid closes tightly. I don't put lids in the microwave - there are never lids in the microwave, I just cover the open bowl with paper towels when reheating food. I also hand wash the lids and put the bowl in the dishwasher. Very handy for me for my soups, stews, yoghurts etc.; They're bigger than I really need - I don't fill them with my food as I can never eat that much, but it's nice to have the extra space when I'm eating salads.
