Works as intended but sized to fit very snugly on the end that goes into the wall located. I thought the cable was fully plugged in, but it wasn't, and this resulted in a signal short between two or three L/R/Gs. First I checked all other points in the chain and thought it was ok. But in the end I decided to take it off and test it in my hand and it worked fine. I put it back on the disk and the problem reappeared. So I pushed even harder to make sure the connector was fully seated in the back and then it worked. The front port has a much more user-friendly click when seated; not so on the other side. As a result, it works as it should; Only the production design added a layer of troubleshooting when things went wrong.
