Great for cleaning vintage clothing!

I wear a lot of vintage clothes from the 40's and 50's and if you know anything about these things you know that you end up having to dry clean a lot of things because hand washing ruins the fabric, shape or color. Not to say I haven't found some pretty creative ways to hand wash and not mess up, but with these at-home dry cleaning wipes there's no fear of damage that comes with that dubious ingenuity. To cut my insane dry cleaning bills and spend less time getting creative, I bought these on the advice of a friend who wears vintage. Similar color clothing works for this material, and it's magical. If there is a stain it may be pre-blotted with a cloth to remove it. So far I haven't noticed any extra stains or streaks of color when using the cloth as directed. per package. I've only pre-soaked minor stains so far and a mohair sweater that had horrible deodorant stains from the previous owner *they mostly came out*, but I'm not sure how it works on heavily colored items. For me, the BEST thing about these dryer sheets is that they eliminate the vintage smell that can linger on clothes, even after years of careful hand washing! I found a product that completely eliminates this smell. I will say that you probably don't want to use it on vintages that are heavily beaded or rhinestone encrusted because you are putting the item in a device that will turn it off and I'm serious. Physics.๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธSomething falls out, I wouldn't risk that, I would take these treasures to your trusted dry cleaner.Although. To be honest I'll say I've made a few things with rhinestones. lose the rhinestone, but I know I'm taking a risk. I may have also tried a '60s sweater with a little mink collar that you should NOT do (I put it in my bra laundry bag when I dry cleaned it) and it came out perfect, but I don't recommend it. . I had just bought a cheap sweater so I was willing to take the risk. I wouldn't use it for anything too fabulous. good on wool *no shrinkage!* and gabardine I definitely recommend this product, I've already sent this link to all my girlfriends in vintage clothes because I think it's so cool and I'm buying 5 more boxes.๐Ÿค“
