Update 2: I've washed the changing sheets 4 times and they haven't torn. I don't think they're thick enough - it will wear them down quicker - but I like them. Dropped to 4 stars although I would have preferred 3.5 due to lack of durability. Update: after the first wash the sheet was torn (I didn't wash it before use as you can see in the 1st 2nd photo). The color is also a bit faded but still beautiful. I requested a replacement hoping it was an anomaly but have now downgraded my rating as well. I'll update in a month or so ORIGINAL: I sometimes sleep very hot and struggle with the sheets we already had - satin weave. I've always had trouble sleeping, but perimenopause brings new challenges. Finding a percale, 100% cotton fabric in the color I needed was not easy. These sheets are real percale - I checked it out with a 8x photo (the percale is placed over or under the individual threads for maximum breathability). The color is beautiful. They wrinkle more easily and make a rustling sound when moved, just like 100% cotton percale sheets. I like it - I feel good. You can not. I haven't woken up in a sweat since I've had them. The only problem I have is that they are a bit thin.
