Nothing special about them other than titanium but they are well made in the sense that the ends of the wire are clean cut and the turns are tight. As you would expect the 90 degree edge on the ends of the wire is a little sharp, but for use on a keychain this isn't a problem. They do their job and do it well. For those who don't normally use metric measurements, note that 10mm is small, approximately 0.4 inch, and that is the outside diameter. The inner diameter is approximately 8mm or 0.31 inch or 5/16 inch. I use two of these together to hang my keys on my keychain and have found that this works better than a larger diameter split ring and the result is less bulky.
