They are a lot smaller than I expected which to be honest could be my fault because I don't have a clear idea of how big things are when I read their sizes but the photos are made it look bigger. They work well for toddler shoes when placed bottom up. I filled most of the slots with shoes but couldn't fill them all because it was too tight so I filled in 2 socks so we didn't have to run to the bedroom to get a pair. Shoes for children from size 9 will probably not fit. They're great for organizing sock or underwear drawers, crayons, playdough, or a variety of other items.
