If you are looking for the best RO system at the best price then look no further. I did extensive research and found the Puredrop reverse osmosis system to be the best overall. It has the best price, great support and a very high quality system. ISPRING VS PUREDROPPuredrop is the same company that makes ISpring which is also a very good reverse osmosis system. I wasn't sure whether to buy a Puredrop reverse osmosis system or an ISpring reverse osmosis system, so I called customer service and asked about the difference. I spoke to Nick and Don who answered all of my questions so I could make an informed decision. The iSpring RO is more money, but you get more bang for your buck: a bigger tank, a Clear 1st Stage tank, and a better faucet. In my case it's just me and my wife and I don't need a bigger tank and I have a faucet owned by other reverse osmosis systems and I wouldn't go for a clear tank with just a Puredrop system. Change the filters in time, there's really no need to look into the first stage. If you're forgetful, it may be a good idea to buy an Ispring system with a clear first stage reservoir. FILTERS AND MEMBRANES There have been other reverse osmosis systems in the past and the biggest problem I have found has been the cost of replacing filters, particularly the membrane, which can be as high as $40 for some well known brands, especially when You need the built-in control cost membrane. The Puredrop RO features a check valve as a separate system component, eliminating the need to purchase a diaphragm valve with a built-in check valve. PLUS, I love that PureDrop offers an extra set of filters next time you need to change filters. not much more. BOTTOM RO INSTALLATION AND TANK Puredrop RO system that was easy to install with color coded water lines. So far everything works perfectly and I really like the small compact tank that gives me a lot more storage space under the sink. There's no reason I see a bigger tank for a family of two. CONCLUSION Puredrop was installed within a week of writing this review. I suspect I won't have any problems, but even if I do, I know I can always call customer service: Nick or Don and I'm sure they will take care of all my problems for years.
