I received these gauges for growing tomatoes and leafy greens hydroponically. I won't be able to grow tomatoes until next season, but I'll grow some lettuce and leafy greens indoors during the winter. These two meters are nice and compact, easy to use and the TDS/EC meter reads almost instantly; The pH meter takes 20-30 seconds to set a reading but both are fully serviceable and seem more than accurate enough for the home garden. I don't have another TDS/EC meter to calibrate, but I have another pH meter that only reads tenths. (This pH meter measures and claims an accuracy of up to 0.01 pH.) This meter agrees with another meter, but this is only evidence of general accuracy, not 0.01 accuracy. For home hydroponics this is more than enough and they are an attractive price point in my opinion.
